A baby book – Not like you expect

There are so many baby books out there, but they aren’t exactly the most brain stimulating.

For the baby or for the reader.

What an incredible idea to use Scripture to create a baby book. I love the fact that it helps me memorize Scripture!

Although,I used her idea, but did things a little differently.

I used magazine clippings.

I picked out verses that were meaningful to me.

Admittedly, I also picked verses that went with the pictures.

I did some of my own drawings, but ya’ll…I am NOT an artist. I can do fun lettering and writing, but NOT drawing.

And THEN, I added something even more special. Matter of fact, today, you are going to have a chance to win some of your own.

Jac over at BabElessings is hosting an amazing giveaway. She is an amazing person, seriously – go check out her blog to see.

She created these awesome prints, and I used them in the baby book. See:

The purpose of these is to use them however you want; write on them, hang them on the wall, whatever. Make them yours, put God’s truth all over them!

What are some verses you would add to your book? I have some pages left that I really need to fill!

So, one lucky person is going to get not one of these, not five, but ALL of them!

I like your idea. My fav verse of course would have to be John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son, that who so ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Of course there are several verses that I love. My son’s fav verse when he was little was For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Thanks for sharing. I think that this might be a great idea for me to fix for my new grandbaby that will be here in Dec.

What an amazing idea! I’m headed to the craft store first thing in the morning so I can make this for my little man.

Some of my favorite scriptures are Jeremiah 29, Isaiah 61:1-4, Phil. 4:4-9 (which is praphrased on the sticker from Jac), and Psalm 84:10-12. If you had a little girl, Proverbs 31 would be great. 🙂
