How to Clean a Shower using things you already have

So, I am reallyenjoying finding cleaners that don’t use too many chemicals. Not only does it prevent me from getting cancer (I can always hope), but it saves money.

Our shower can’t seem to stay clean.

It’s not like we are dirty people.

But our shower gets DIR-TY. It’s pretty nasty, actually.

I’m kinda embarrassed.

But, I will move on from my own embarrassment in order to share this with you.

Here is my shower before and after, in case you need further proof.

Okay, take one cup of hot/warm water. One tablespoon of Dawn Dish Detergent. And 1/3 cup of vinegar. Add it together. Rub on the nasty spots on the shower. Then wash off and admire the beauty of a sparkling shower.

Here you go:

1 cup water

1 TBS Dawn

1/3 cup vinegar

Mix together, then scrub the shower.

Don’t be embarrassed! With 3 kids and a husband, I know how hard it is to keep a tub clean! I am definitely going to try this. We have a 12 week old and I always worry about cleaners that she might come in contact with if i set her in the tub or the sink (not that I don’t worry about the older two also!). This seems like a great solution… thanks for sharing!
