We all love free food.
Come on, I can’t be the only person who has ever googled “Restaurant coupons”. Right?
Well, May is one of my favorite months of the year because I spend most of the month eating free food. It also, just so happens to be my birthday month. Hence, the reason for the free food.
Are you signed up yet to receive coupons from your favorite restaurants? If not, then oh by golly! You need to be!
Here is how I eat free all month long (birthday month, that is).
First, you need an email address. I really don’t like receiving spam or coupons in my regular email. So I set up a separate email address.
Then, I signed up with some of my favorite restaurants. Some went above and beyond the call of duty to celebrate my special occasion. Others, fell flat.
Here is a list of my favorites. Quick, go sign up with them right now, before you turn another year older!
*Edited thanks to the comments!* Some of these are for ALL month long, but most are for a few weeks. So you have time to use them, but do make sure you look at the expiration date as soon as you receive them in your email!
They ARE in order of my favorites and (in my opinion) the best deals:
Red Robin – My absolute favorite and the one I look forward to every year. They give you a free burger and usually a free ice cream sundae (oh and a song). Even though they are 40 miles from my house, we make the trip each year.
Freebirds – Free burrito on your half birthday (November for me)
Jason’s Deli – Use the coupon to get $5 off a meal, or order off the kids menu and get a free meal.
Schlotskys – Free Sandwich
Firehouse subs – Free sandwich
Jersey Mikes – Sub Sandwich and drink
McAlisters – $5 off, you can do the same thing you did with Jason’s Deli here
Taco Cabana – Flauta Plate
Which wich -Free regular sandwich
Genghis Grill – Free bowl
Dickey’s – Free sandwich
Denny’s – Free Grand Slam breakfast
IHop – Free Breakfast
Starbucks – Free item for registered starbucks card members (can even be a panini sandwich)
Einstein Bros – Free bagel sandwich when you buy a drink
Carrabas – $10 off an entree (This is a buy one get one deal, so not totally free)
Benihana – Free $30 Gift Certificate (the only catch is that you have to order another meal, so although your meal might be free, your date’s isn’t)
A TON of places give you free food if you buy stuff, and many places give you free desserts, but that just doesn’t work as we ll for us. We don’t want to spend a ton of money, in order to save a few bucks in the long run. We would rather just eat the free food! Happy Birthday to me!
At Heyitsfree there is a more comprehensive list of birthday freebies if you are looking to pay more out of pocket.
Did I leave any out? What are some of your favorites?
