It’s a toddler‘s dream.
The fact that it’s easy to make and comes together in four steps? That’s a mother’s dream!
If you have a toddler, but no play dough. Then you should change that.
It’s much easier to change than having play dough, but no toddler. Trust me on that one.
This play dough is super simple to make. Also, I really enjoyed making it because in the process, I got to play with it to. I mean I had to! It’s part of the recipe.
You are going to need flour, salt, oil, water and vinegar. If you want to make them pretty, you are also going to need food coloring.
The method is easy peasy. Put the liquids on to boil, that would be; water, oil, food coloring and vinegar. While the liquids are heating, combine the dry ingredients.
Then, when the water boils, turn the heat off and combine the wet and dry together.
Let it cool. Seriously, that’s boiling water, you need to make sure it cools so you don’t get a big owie. (Yeah, I said owie, I’m a mom)
This is my favorite part, once it’s cooled then you get to mash it together to make the dough.
Once it’s all mashed up, then you get a beautiful ball of dough.
That’s mashed up yo!
Now it’s ready to play with. I mean…for your kids to play with.
