Here’s the thing. I start looking forward to Christmas starting in the summer. I know, I am crazy like that. There is just something about that time of year. It is special, it is sweet, it is magical.
Although I love my Christmas music, I don’t listen to it at all during the year. I do my VERY best to wait until November at least to start the music in my house.
I didn’t make it this year.
Halloween found me sneaking a listen, but only for a few moments.
Now that November is here, I can listen freely without my self-imposed guilt.
I would love to do this with my house, however, we don’t even put up lights.
I love the Carol of the Bells. Mannheim Steamroller. Even the Grinch gives me a smile.
So today, on this fourth day of November, I am grateful for music. All kinds, really. But most especially, I am grateful for those timeless sounds of Christmas songs.
What about you? Are you a lover of Christmas music, or are you a Grinch (KIDDING! Even my own hubby would rather wait until later in the season…)?
