Organize the Kid’s Closet

This delightful closet reorg, as well as this post, has been sponsored by Wayfair.com all opinions, children and clutter are my own. See my disclosure policy here

When I was a little girl and my mama would tell me to clean up my room, I would usually just stuff the majority of the junk under my bed or in my closet.

Somehow, I never grew out of that.

Now that I am a mama of little ones, I have found myself stuffing junk into their closets, too. Of course, they usually enjoy adding to the mess.

It was time for Operation: Organize the Kid’s Closet

I used this closet organizer from Wayfair to help separate my closet. I love the little boxes that go with it! This organization system also came with some fancy velvety hangers. I got rid of the plastic hangers, which the kids LOVED playing with.

Side note: You can’t say that boys and girls come out the same. Gracie spent the entire time organizing them while Benjamin spent the entire time throwing them around! I love watching their differences!

I should confess here that although I am saying I…I wasn’t alone. My mama came over to help me. She is truly an organization queen!

I was amazed how much room there was in that closet when we were all finished. I feel like I could stick a bed in there for someone to sleep.

So don’t be surprised if you come for a visit and end up in the closet. After all, it’s probably the nicest place in our house right now!
