Christmas time is coming. I am already getting excited about celebrating advent with my little ones.

Something we did last year that was so fantastic, was use picture books to count down the days until Christmas.

As I have been preparing for this year’s advent, I have been working to come up with a list of some of the best picture books.

Here are some of the best and most Christ centered picture books I have found. Please let me know in the comments, if you have any that you would add to this list.

I LOVE this idea for Christmas. Each of these books focus around the Messiah, maybe have a kid unwrap a book each night of advent?

Here are the books. Get creative with what you can do with them!

I have been looking for exactly this. My little girl will be 20months for Christmas and I wanted to start a meaningful traditional. I love the list of books you put together. That is so helpful!
