We are coming up on the holiday season and I am so excited to make some memories with my little ones. My children are still not yet at the age where they remember things from a year ago. I think this holiday season will finally be a time that Gracie will remember. Benjamin…not so much.
In order to jump start their excitement about this season, I have been reading Thanksgiving books and watching some holiday movies.
Some of our favorite holiday movies are the Peanuts classic movies. I have fond memories of watching these when I was a kid.
I decided to make things even more special and let the kids make their own pizzas. Anytime they have a chance to play in the kitchen, they LOVE it, so what better way to make memories than giving them free reign (well, almost!).
In order to make it easy, we just used some pita bread as our crust.
We added some olive oil over the top.
Then, some tomatoes.
Can’t forget the chicken!
Tyson® Chicken Strips from Sam’s Club makes this part a breeze. They are already cut up for you (although I cut my chicken into even smaller pieces for the kiddos).
Top it off with a generous helping of cheese.
Stick them in the oven at 400 degrees for about ten minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Kid made pizzas.
While you are waiting for the pizzas to cook, you could read to them a holiday book. Or even stick in one of your favorite Classic Peanuts movies. Since Tyson® is an official partner with the new Peanuts movie, they just go together!
We are ready to see the new Peanuts Movie, in theaters now. Have you seen it, yet?
Which Peanuts Classic movie is your favorite?
