I didn’t mean for it to happen. I guess it’s just one of those things. I blame it on the fact that we are spending more time living life than documenting it. I know I will probably regret it in about twenty years, but right now, we are just loving family time and vacation. Blogging has taken a back seat to everything else in life right now. I will be back, although, it might be after we become a family of six. No guarantees. These moments are just too special.
These are just some of my favorite memories from our family vacation in Tyler last week. It was full of good conversations, fun memories and lots of sun.
Benjamin’s favorite relative. He plays it real cool when she’s around, but as soon as he is out of her presence, he talks about her. His brother might be following along, Zada was the first person’s name he has said so far…other than mommy and daddy.
They also enjoyed the sand.
Mommy and the boys hung out on the boat, watching daddy.
Gracie was still deciding how she felt about the boat. She liked the floor better.
What better way to help break her fear of the water, than by tubing as a family?
Gracie and Benjamin didn’t really enjoy themselves, but Levi thought it was a great way to take a nap.
Mini golf with three children aged 4 and under is quite the experience!
This is the best daddy in the whole world. He has my heart.
We went on the boat a few times, the kids got to where they really enjoyed it. We took this picture of Levi and Benjamin. I guess this is the face Levi makes as he is pondering a big decision, because about two seconds later, he jumped off the boat and into the lake. Thank God for life jackets!
More pictures to come soon. As soon as I take the time to post them. In the meantime, we will continue to enjoy our summer and our last month as a family of five.
